Flipping lovely! True Blood star Ryan Kwanten wins the crowd over as he goes behind the counter to serve punters burgers and fries for McHappy Day
He is best known for stripping down to his smalls for sex scenes in vampire drama True Blood.
But on Saturday Australian actor Ryan Kwanten showed he was a man of many talents who wasn't afraid to muck in for a good cause.
The star, who is back in his homeland after two years away, returned to work as an ambassador for McDonald's McHappy Day.
Delighted: It's not every day you have Ryan Kwanten serve you lunch - the Aussie star was helping out behind the counter for McHappy Day at McDonald's Darling Harbour restaurant on Saturday in Sydney
And proving there is more to him than just being a bit of eye candy, he got behind the counter of the fast food chains Darling Harbour restaurant in Sydney and served delighted punters.
Ahead of the event he had told the Daily Mail Australia: 'I’ll be doing anything in my power to rustle up some money.
'So whether it’s making some burgers, serving fries, getting on the drive through, carrying around the donation bucket, eating a big mac, I’m willing to do it all.'
And he was was true to his word much to the delight of everyone who popped in for a visit.

The punters were beaming from ear to ear as the down to earth star was happy to chat and hand over their orders of Big Mac and fries
Wearing a McHappy Day T-shirt the x year old actor smiled and handed out stickers proving starring in a sexy drama helps to keep your feet on the ground.
Nothing was too much trouble and it was clear he was a real crowd pleaser.

All heart: Visitors to the restaurant were given a hand sticker by the actor which were then put on a wall in the restaurant
Star turn: The Aussie, who hasn't been back to his homeland for two years, also signed autographs for fans
Even the local police got to pose up for a picture with two female officers stopping for a shot with Ryan.
He also took time out to sign autographs for delighted fans and helped put stickers up on the wall which were forming the shape of a giant heart.
The actor flew into Sydney on Thursday to help out with the cause, which is one of McDonald's biggest fundraisers of the year.

On Friday visited Ronald McDonald House in Randwick on Friday, ahead of his stint selling burgers for charity so he could meet families and children staying at the facility.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Ryan shared how he became involved with the organisation that offers a range of programs and services to support seriously ill children and their families.
'They sort of reached out to me and asked if I’d be their ambassador. I haven’t been home in two years so it was a perfect opportunity to come back and lend some good to the country that’s helped me out and helped give me my start.'

Looking relaxed and happy the star sat with the children and their families to enjoy snacks and a musical performance by Bow and Arrow - who are Ryan's brother and sister-in-law's acoustic band.
Bow and Arrow, is the creation of Mitchell & Mindy Kwanten – the duo have been performing together for over 15 years.
Ryan confided that he hadn't seen his family in a long time.
Is Ryan's girlfriend Ashley Sisino clucky? When asked if the couple are considering children themselves, Ryan said 'somewhere down the track, but it’s not in the near future.'

Ryan's girlfriend Ashley Sisino also accompanied the star to the special day.
The pair only made their relationship official in June after a year together, when they attended a True Blood screening together in Hollywood.

'She loves kids' Ryan confided, but when asked whether the pair were considering having any children of their own he quickly answered, 'Somewhere down the track, but it’s not in the near future.'
Mchappy Day raised just over three million dollars last year, so the star is hoping to make even more cash this time around.
'I think I can raise more then 3 million, I'm a competitive person!'

Ryan, who plays series favourite Jason Stackhouse on True Blood finished filming the TV series earlier in the year, but he has many plans to keep himself busy.
'I literally just wrapped a film in Columbia with Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto, it's a film called The Effects of Blunt Force Trauma.'
The film directed by Ken Sanzel is a gangsta underworld story.
Ryan is also currently lending his voice to the Australian cartoon Blinky Bill.
He will be the voice of iconic and much loved Blinky.
