'It scares the living daylights out of her!' Victoria Beckham 'petrified' after son Brooklyn, 15, reveals he wants a motorbike

Victoria Beckham is petrified about her son learning to ride a motorcycle.

The former Spice Girls singer is worried about Brooklyn, 15,  getting his moped licence when he turns 16 next March after her husband David crashed his bike in August.

A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: 'Victoria is petrified, it's every mum's worst nightmare when their child wants a motorbike.'

The 40-year-old designer would never stop her children - including Romeo, 12, Cruz, nine, and Harper, three - from doing anything they want to do but she's hoping Brooklyn changes his mind about getting a bike.

The source explained: 'David and Victoria would never want to stop their children doing anything but she is hoping Brooklyn changes his mind, it scares the living daylights out of her.'

David, 39, was left battered and bruised this summer after he came off his motorcycle in Los Angeles as he was leaving a Sunset Boulevard tattoo parlour.

He said at the time: It was not a great experience but I was lucky. Riding bikes is dangerous at times.'

Beckham was riding his Super Vintage 93' Knuckle, and enlisted the help of store staff to push his bike there while he sought assistance, according to TMZ.

The British soccer star is a well-know biking enthusiast and is often spotted nipping around Los Angeles on his custom-built vehicle.

In June, Becks opened up about his love of the open road in his 90-minute BBC documentary, which saw him riding through Brazil's Amazon rainforest with three of his best mates.

He told former Monty Python comedian and adventurer Michael Palin: 'I retired 12 months ago and my whole life, my whole career has been about having a particular schedule that I’ve always kept to, so we just wanted to be able to jump on the bikes and do what we wanted, wherever we wanted.

'I wanted to do something that we would all enjoy - I'm a big motorbike rider and so are two of my three friends that came with me on this trip. It was the kind of journey that had no schedule.'

David and Victoria's representatives told MailOnline they do not comment on the Beckham children.
