Reese Witherspoon was the host of the evening, but all eyes were on actress Jaime King on Tuesday.

The Hollywood stars were among others at the Council of Fashion Designers of America and Vogue Fashion Fund party, held at the iconic Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

And, as the Hart of Dixie star cut a striking figure at the bash, it's fair to say she had all eyes on her, thanks to her unique dress, slender frame and seemingly endless legs.

Patchwork princess: Jaime King showed off her model frame in her thigh-skimming and detailed dress at the Council of Fashion Designers of America and Vogue Fashion Fund party in Los Angeles on Tuesday

The 35-year-old American actress rocked her skimpy, multicoloured dress with ease, her creamy alabaster skin and slender limbs on full show.

The girlish, thigh-skimming item resembled a slap-dash patchwork design, in pale blues, red and pale beige, with a hint of green.

The mum-of-one continued the green theme with her stylish olive leather clutch bag, and sported cream sandals with thick ankle straps on her feet.

To complete the playfulness of her youthful yet sexy frock, it was emblazoned with applique dandelions, adding to the fun texture of the piece.

Adding a touch of sexiness to the overall ensemble, when Jaime - who is married to movie director Kyle Newman, with whom she has a young son - turned around, she showed off an almost entirely bare back, thanks to the deep reverse plunge cut.

The stunning actress' hair was slicked back in a neat centre parting, falling down her on-show back to show off her prettily made-up face and scarlet lips.

As one of the star guests at the fashion event for the non-profit association - which helps American fashion designers in the global market - she caught up with Reese, who was the afternoon's prestigious hostess.

The fashionable actress was among the stylish and esteemed likes of Miranda Kerr, Milla Jovovich, Dianna Agron, Diane Von Furstenburg and January Jones at the party held at the infamous LA celebrity hotel.
