Hilarious moment professional boxer is KNOCKED OUT after just 16 seconds sparring with old man in woolly jumper

  • Pride dented as younger man is KO'd by 'experienced' opponent
  • Older man wears a jumper to the ring - but skills no laughing matter
  • Professional boxer signals he's had enough 30 seconds into session

The saying goes you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

And this is demonstrated perfectly in this video, as some rather agricultural boxing sees an old man floor a professional boxer in a sparring session.

Some quick instructions are given by a cornerman, before the 'more experienced fighter,' shall we say, takes a step back, interestingly taking to the ring in a jumper, hardly boxing attire.

The professional appears to be taking what's to come as some kind of joke, smiling and laughing towards the camera.

A ringing bell signals the start of the action.

Only 20 seconds in the old man lands a solid right, followed by a clubbing left, and the look of surprise on his younger opponent is evident.

The two come together again, before a huge left hook from the bald pugilist floors his opponent. The onlookers are similarly shocked.

The attack continues

The older man takes the fight to the professional boxer, and all the latter can do is try and bat off the attack

But ever the professional, the younger fighter bounces back to feet, if not hurt, but pride seriously dented.

The assault is far from over though - snappy right-handers keep coming from the elder man, which rock his opponent onto the back foot, before, with one hand holding on to the rope, he waves off the attack.

It's fair to say the younger boxer was in confident mood ahead of his sparring session

This comes only 16 seconds after the first hammer blow was landed, and only 30 seconds into the session.

Cue laughter from those watching the action, and a shake of the head from the bearded professional boxer.

One thing's for sure, you can't beat a bit of experience.
