UPDATED A doctor who treated Ebola patients in West Africa has been rushed to a New York City hospital with symptoms of the virus. Dr Craig Spencer, 33, (pictured) who returned to the U.S. ten days ago from Guinea, was admitted to Bellevue Hospital on Thursday. The doctor was taken to the hospital from his home in Harlem after developing an 103F fever and nausea. Dr Spencer is being tested for the Ebola virus as well as malaria, salmonella and stomach flu. The results are expected in 12 hours. The doctor flew to Africa on September 18 to treat patients in Guinea with Medecins San Frontieres (MSF). The medic works at Columbia University Medical Center and originally comes from Detroit, Michigan. On September 18, he tweeted a picture of himself (center) wearing a full yellow hazmat suit and face mask with the message: 'Off to Guinea with Doctors Without Borders (MSF). Please support organizations that are sending support or personnel to West Africa, and help combat one of the worst public health and humanitarian disasters in recent history.'

Judge tosses second lawsuit filed by an Alabama man claiming his penis was amputated during a botched circumcision

After the initial lawsuit was dismissed last month, a Birmingham man has amended and re-filed a lawsuit against Princeton Baptist Medical Center and a group of doctors after he alleges they amputated his penis during a circumcision.

The amended lawsuit, filed by attorney John P. Graves, changed the date from June 2014 to February 2014, and also names Dr. Mell L. Duggan, Jr., which they describe as ?the surgical physician who may have performed the circumcision and/or penectomy procedure on the plaintiff,? and that medical records indicate that he performed a routine circumcision of Johnny Lee Banks Jr. on or about Feb. 10, 2014.

Baptist Health Systems, Inc., Urology Centers of Alabama, P.C., Simon-Williamson Clinic, P.C., Dr. Vincent Michael Bivins, and Dr. Alan C. Aikens, M.D. are also named in the lawsuit, in addition to Dr. Duggan.

The 26-year-old had left the Tropic Cay Sports Bar, 529 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd., and was returning to his hotel room in the 3100 block of Windamar Street about 3:14 a.m. Monday when the armed robber approached him, according to an arrest report.

She was known for tweeting under the name Felina and @Miut3 handle with the hashtag #reynosafollow to warn others about crime in her city, which has a reputation for corruption. The doctor was an administrator for Valor por Tamaulipas (which means Courage for Tamaulipas), the most popular citizen news hub in the state. It is believed that she was targeted by a Mexican drug cartel.
