That's frightful! X Factor's Rylan celebrates his birthday with a Halloween themed costume party ... but fails to impress himself

He's this year's most controversial finalist on the X Factor, so leave it to Rylan Clark to pull out all the stops for his birthday.
The singer turned 24 on Wednesday and celebrated the occasion with an extravagant costume party.
His X Factor colleagues joined him on night out in London nightclub Mahiki, and everybody dressed up accordingly for the Halloween themed bash.

Rylan himself of course took the opportunity to show off his former modelling skills, as he strutted to the London hotspot dressed as American football player.
Showing off his fake tanned stomach, the birthday boy spruced up the outfit with some blood make-up.
He was joined by Lucy Spraggan, who dressed up as a pumpkin, District 3, who seemed to be donning matching Satan outfits, and Union J, who all came wearing bloody nurse's uniforms.

James Arthur and Kaye Sones also helped the lad celebrate his birthday, dressed in black costumes that seemed to resemble a bin bag more than a scary character.
The X Factor hopefuls were spotted drinking and dancing at the nightclub, also favoured by Prince Harry, until the early hours of the morning.
Rylan was clearly very excited for his big night out, as he took to Twitter to inform his new fans of his pending birthday.
'So it’s my big birthday party tonight and turning 24 tomorrow!!! How unreal to have my birthday with all my friends old and new xxx', he wrote.
Clarifying later: 'It’s my actual birthday tomorrow xx #25/10/1988 xxx'

And the fun doesn't stop there. The X Factor live show on Saturday will also be Halloween themed, and Rylan revealed he has a frightening performance up his sleeve.
'I’ve got a big performance on Saturday. I’m really worried,' he told ITN.
'This week is completely unreal. It’s my most nerve wracking performance I’ve done so far, it’s very dangerous.'
