A new project in the works? Rebel Wilson has dinner date with entertainment guru Richard Wilkins and Channel Nine boss David Gyngell

Australian comedian and Hollywood heavyweight Rebel Wilson snuck into Sydney on Wednesday.

Later that evening the 28-year-old was seen arriving at trendy restaurant Bondi Icebergs for dinner with Channel Nine entertainment guru Richard Wilkins, and the network's CEO, David Gyngell.

The funny-woman looked beautiful in a black short-sleeved shift dress that fell just above the knee and featured a cobalt blue stripe down the centre.

Keeping her blonde hair out and wavy, the actress wore minimal make-up for the beach-side dinner.

The Bridesmaids actress finished off her outfit with nude patent pumps, which appear to be expensive Louboutins, judging by the signature red sole visible on the heel.

Meanwhile, Nine Network entertainment guru Wilkins looked dapper in a black suit with a partially unbuttoned white shirt revealing a black T-shirt underneath.

The pair happily posed for paparazzi outside the Bondi establishment, while Nine Network boss David Gyngell appeared a little less delighted by the throng of photographers.

Dressed casually, David walked in wearing dark blue denim jeans with a black T-shirt, black jacket and brown suede loafers.

It's not yet known if the sophisticated dinner was perhaps celebrating a new project or just a catch-up to discuss potential ideas, however the appearance of Nine Network boss David Gyngell, suggests it was business.

Just days ago the starlet was posting photos on social media from 'the happiest place on earth', Disneyland, with her Pitch Perfect 2 co-stars Hailee Steinfeld, Chrissie Fit and Kelley Jakle.

Describing it as: 'Best day ever at Disneyland with the Bella crew' the Australian actress tweeted her excitement at getting to ride various rollercoasters and meeting Disney Princesses.

The stars also got to stay at the Disney Dream Suite, prompting Rebel to hash-tag one group shot 'Party in the USA'.
