The A-listers were out in force for Halloween this weekend with legendary party girl Kate Moss at the forefront.

But while some opted for traditional fancy dress, Kate led the new vogue for dressing up as other celebrities.

Kate turned out as her own ‘mini-me’ – Cara Delevingne – while DJ Nick Grimshaw dressed as Rita Ora and hotelier Andre Balazs was Rita’s rap star boyfriend Ricky Hilfiger (son of designer Tommy).

X Factor judge Mel B had an interesting take on the trend – she turned up to Jonathan Ross’s party dressed as Scary Spice.

But, disappointingly, the famously flamboyant Lady Gaga – who looks like a Halloween fan most days of the year –simply put a sheet over her head and stepped out as a ghost.

It was ironic that Kate chose to dress up as Cara, as the pair have become infatuated with one another.

What started out as an awkward rivalry has resulted in a friendship so affectionate that many in the fashion world joke that they are practically a couple these days.

It was all good fun – but I’m told that Kate’s raucous return to partying has not gone down well with husband of three years Jamie Hince.

While he has been on tour with his band The Kills in America, Kate has been out and about, and on Tuesday night was snapped rolling on the floor kissing singer Grace Jones, 66, at nightclub Annabel’s.

A friend of Jamie’s said: ‘Kate has been partying more than ever. Jamie knew what he was getting himself into when he married her... but he doesn’t have to like it all of the time.’
