And that's a wrap! Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher celebrate with cast of newcomers as they finish filming Star Wars: Episode VII

They've been hard at work filming in a galaxy far, far away, and now most of the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII have finished their scenes for the movie.

Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and JJ Abrams joined several of the rising stars about to have their big break in the film at a wrap party in London on Saturday night.

Harrison, 72, who is reprising his role as Han Solo in the latest offering, looked incredibly dapper in a charcoal suit and tie, with a white shirt and black dress shoes.

Carrie Fisher (aka Princess Leia) arrived a little while later, dressed in a blue coat and black shoes, and was followed by director JJ Abrams, who wore a classic black tuxedo and striped tie.

One by one, an army of cars containing the lucky cast members pulled up to the Science Museum, where the exclusive bash was taking place.

And the stars were treated to quite the elaborate party, with aerial silk acrobatics in the atrium.

Andy Serkis gave a cheerful wave as he made his way inside, but he has been keeping coy about his role in the movie.

Best known for his motion and performance capture roles, such as Gollum in the Lord Of The Rings and Hobbit sagas, it is believed he will be taking on one for Star Wars - although this still remains to be seen.

The cast were dressed to impress for the party, and like Andy John Boyega and Pip Andersen arrived in suave suits.

JJ Abrams is famously tight-lipped about his projects, and the roles of the majority of actors announced as being attached to the film remain unknown.

Unfortunately the project recently suffered leaks after an ImageShack user posted over 30 concept drawings from the movie.

Back in June, JJ responded to alleged leaked photos as he posted a cheeky snap of a note that said: 'I wish people would stop leaking photos from Episode VII. And Making ridiculous claims that the Millennium Falcon is in the movie,' although the note was lying on a piece of the spacecraft.

Lupita Nyong'o, Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac are among the other stars who have joined the cast, while Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and Anthony Daniels are reprising the roles that made them famous.

Though not much is known about the plot of the upcoming movie, it will be a continuation of the saga created by George Lucas 30 years after the end of Star Wars: Episode IV - The Return Of The Jedi.

Star Wars: Episode VII is currently scheduled to be released on December 18, 2015.

Hotly anticipated: Fans can't wait for the new Star Wars instalment, which has added Lupita Nyong'o, Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac - among many others - to the cast
