He added: ‘Rumours spread, and like I said before in the song Superstition, when you believe in things you don’t understand you suffer. So, you know, that was a bunch of bull.’
The 64-year-old also joked: ‘I’ve got how many – 22 kids?’
According to reports the I Just Called To Say I Love You hit-maker already has a child with Tomeeka, and she was seen out with ‘their secret daughter’ last month.

'Stevie and Tomeeka had their first child together last year,' an insider told The National Enquirer at the time. 'I know because I attended the baby shower!'
The new arrival due before the end of the year will be Stevie’s eighth child.
The star has been married twice: to Motown singer Syreeta Wright from 1970 to 1972 and for eight years to Kai Millard Morris until their separation in October 2009.
They kept that quiet: Reports surfaced last month that the couple secretly had a child together last year, who Tomeeka was pictured with last month
While rumours of triplets turned out to be untrue, a source told The New York Post's Page Six that Stevie has vowed to be a more present father for the new baby.
'It’s Stevie’s mechanism for his happiness,' an insider said.
'He knows that being a father is a full-time job and now that he’s a little older, he feels like he’s up to the task and he doesn’t want to let any of them down.'
