Description: Hanuman Chalisa is the recitation of the classic 40 stanza poem in praise of Shree Hanuman. In a relaxing atmosphere devotees sing ancient hymns to honour Lord Hanuman. The singing, sometimes mellow and sometimes full of joy and energy, is a form of Hindu meditation to cleanse the mind body and soul. At the end of the event the energy of Hanuman is manifested upon each and every participant.

It is said that when one sing the Chalisa, Hanuman is present and is listening with great joy.
Who is Hanuman?
Hanuman is one the central characters in the epic Ramayana story. He is known as the “Monkey King” or “Lord of the monkeys”. A devotee of Rama and resembling a humanoid monkey, he is a courageous, wise, and honest God. Hanuman is worshipped not only India but around the world.
Why is Hanuman worshipped more than any other deity in the Hindu Pantheon?
Hanuman is believed to be an avatar of Lord Shiva. He is famous because he helped Rama destroy the evil forces in India and located his wife Sita who was kidnapped by the demon king Ravana.
