She plays expert fixer Olivia Pope on the hit drama Scandal, but Kerry Washington admitted that beautician Carola Gonzalez is her real life Olivia Pope.

'I was going to the NAACP Awards to support a girlfriend, but I needed my hair and makeup done,' she explained. 'Carola was filling in for another makeup artist who was out of town. I looked at myself in the mirror [when Carola was finished] and that was it.'

Carola, who also works with Jaime King and Rashida Jones, is the woman behind all of Kerry's gorgeous hair and makeup looks and is a critical member of the mother-of-one's red carpet style.

And the go-to for any flawless makeup look, Kerry revealed: 'Carola is obsessive about eyebrows. She needs the mascara wand to fix lashes and brows. I could be getting out of the car for a red carpet, and she's like 'Wait!' - fixing an eyebrow.'

From one gorgeous mom to another, Gwen Stefani also reveals that it was love at first sight when she met her longtime hairstylist and friend Danilo.

It was fifteen years ago when the Voice coach encountered his work and recalled their meet-cute: 'it was backstage at a Vivienne Westwood show in New York City - the first fashion show I'd ever been to - and Danilo was doing the hair.'

'Afterward, I begged to have him flown in for our Simple Kind Of Life video. He gave me this really big pink afro and I've been addicted to him ever since.'

Aside from his main customer Gwen, Danilo is responsible for the iconic hairstyles of Lady Gaga's Diet Coke can rollers from her Telephone music video co-starring Beyonce and Rooney Mara's dark choppy bob in the 2011 movie Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

Gwen's hometown neighbor, Cameron Diaz also dished about her gratitude for her glam squad, makeup artist Robin Fredriksz and hairstylist Lona Vigi.

'I wouldn't want to be surrounded by any two other women with sharp objects in their hands,' said the Annie star.
