She can fly! Allison Williams shows off her vocal chops as she sings I Won't Grow Up in promo for Peter Pan Live

Allison Williams has taken on the title role in the upcoming Peter Pan Live musical for NBC, and now the world can get its first look at the singing, dancing, and flying.

A promo for the TV musical has been released, featuring Williams, 26, singing I Won't Grow Up with the Lost Boys.

Christopher Walken, 71, who co-stars as the infamous Captain Hook, also appeared in the promo.

While the footage included in the promo came from rehearsals for the musical - the live version will be broadcast on December 4 - it still gave a good look at how the production would look.

Scenes included in the video showed Peter Pan meeting Wendy (Taylor Louderman) in her window, some pirate silliness, Peter teaching the Darlings how to fly, and Peter showing off those flying skills on Hook's pirate ship.

But the highlight of the promo was the big I Won't Grow Up number featuring Peter Pan, John, Michael, and the Lost Boys.

NBC's live event is an update of the 1954 musical adaptation of the Peter Pan story.

Traditionally, a woman has played the title role in all musical versions, hence the casting of Williams in the part of Peter Pan.

Although best known for playing Marnie Michaels on HBO's Girls, Williams also has a history of performing in music and musical theatre.

As for Walken, the Oscar winner's more than 60-year career started on the stage in 1952.

He has more recently shown off his singing and dancing in movies like Hairspray and in the Fatboy Slim video for Weapon Of Choice.

Minnie Driver, Christian Borle, and Kelli O'Hara are also scheduled to co-star in Peter Pan Live when it airs in December.
