Most would opt for a simple casual ensemble for a day of shopping.

However, Sophia Bush upped the glam on Tuesday when she was spotted heading to luxury lingerie store Agent Provocateur to pick up a purchase.

The 32-year-old actress looked beautiful in a cream low-cut dress on the outing in Los Angeles.

Her dress featured a plunging v-shaped neckline, capped sleeves and was fitted at the waist before flaring into a knee-length A-line skirt for a retro feel.

She teamed it with black studded pumps, a tan suede handbag and carried a leather jacket on her arm in case the air turned chilly.

Sophia looked camera-ready with gently waved golden brown tresses but kept her makeup natural.

Perhaps the actress was picking up a little treat for rumoured beau and Chicago P.D costar Jesse Lee Soffer as she was seen leaving the store with a large pink bag.

Earlier the same day, Sophia took to Instagram to share a selfie she took with former One Tree Hill costar Bethany Joy Lenz.

She captioned the photo: '#GratiTuesday - today I'm #grateful for long lasting friendships that, like fine wine, just get better with time #thanksgiving.'

Although she is yet to comment on her current relationship status, E! claimed in August that Sophia was dating her Chicago P.D. co-star Jesse.

A source said: 'They've [Sophia and Jesse] been secretly dating for over three months, but only their close friends knew. Jesse is super-sweet and they are really cute together.'

After having broken up with her Google manager boyfriend Dan Fredinburg at the beginning of 2014, the star is said to have become close with the actor with whom she spends plenty of time on set in Chicago.

They play police partners on the NBC series, with Sophia portraying Erin Lindsay and Jesse playing Detective Jay Halstead.
