Low key love! Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem hold hands in casual ensembles as they enjoy romantic stroll in Madrid
She was recently voted the Sexiest Woman Alive by Esquire magazine, and he is a heart-throb Oscar-winning actor.
But Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem looked a far cry from their glamorous movie star personas as they took a romantic stroll through Madrid on Thursday.
Penelope, 40, sported a grey coat with furry cream trip, teamed with black jeans and leather boots, while her 45-year-old husband wrapped up warm in a padded black coat, jeans and trainers.

Javier displayed a thick greying beard and sported a pale grey cap.
The couple were without their three-year-old son Leo, and daughter Luna, 13 months for their stroll.
Married for four years, the romance is clearly still very much alive between the famous spouses and they held hands during their walk through the city.

The couple first met on the set of Spanish film Jamon Jamon when Penelope was only 18, but their friendship blossomed into a romance 16 years later while working on Woody Allen's Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
The Oscar-winning actress has cut back on her movies and the number of hours she works in recent years.
Since becoming a mother, Penelope has scales back on the number of acting jobs, last starring in critically panned film The Counsellor alongside a star-studded cast including her husband.

She told The Mirror: 'You need to have time for your own life and as a mother that changes even more.
'Family is the most important thing for me... and if you have children you want to raise them yourself.'
She will next appear in Spanish film Ma ma next year along with comedy Grimsby with Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher.
Javier, meanwhile has been busy filming the Sean Penn-helmed The Last Face with Charlize Theron and Adèle Exarchopoulos and co-stars alongside Penn in spy thriller The Gunman slated for release next year.
