The Rock's on a roll! Dwayne Johnson films scenes for new TV show Baller

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is well known for getting audience's adrenaline pumping in movies, but now he's bringing the action to TV screens too.

The 42-year-old was on the set of the new television series, Ballers, in Miami Beach, Florida on Wednesday.

While most Americans prepared for Thanksgiving the following day, The Rock got serious in a business gear, including a button-up, trousers, and a pair of loafers.

The wrestler and actor will star as Spencer Strasmore, a retired athlete.

Baller tells the story of a group of current and former football players, including roles portrayed by Omar Benson Miller and Denzel Washington's son John David Washington, according to Deadline

The Fast & Furious 7 star is also executive producing the half-hour HBO sitcom alongside Mark Walhberg, inspired by their work together on Pain & Gain.

The show marks Dwayne's latest small-screen appearance and first series regular role. His credits also consist of hosting reality show, Wake Up Call.

On December 12, the TNT reality series will have The Rock mentor those who must overcome great challenges.

He will prompt failing business owners, neglectful fathers, and more that devotion and discipline works to conquer any battle.
