They officially buried the hatchet on Thursday's show following their explosive row.

And Friday night's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here saw Kendra Wilkinson and Edwina Currie working together after being voted to do a joint Bushtucker Trial.

As they prepared for the task, Kendra joked: ‘I don’t need to know what it involves. All I know if the trial itself is me and Edwina’.

Edwina admitted: ‘I’ve been expecting to do a Bushtucker Trial right from the beginning so now I’m actually doing one is a sense of relief.

‘To be doing it with Kendra means we have to co-operate so we both have strengths and we both have weaknesses so we’ll have to see how we work as a team.’

She added: ‘We are going to do it as a team and I’m there and Kendra’s going to have to show everybody that she can do it better than a middle aged lady of ample proportions who has never been sporty in her life.

‘We have to do our best for the whole, for everybody even though we might not benefit from it. I have a feeling that’s what I was trying to teach Kendra the other day.’

As they left, Jimmy said: ‘They’re two strong opinionated women. Tough as old boots. Very very proud that it’s them two.’

Kendra insisted that she was going to put their row behind them as she said: 'We’re putting all the drama behind us. We’re moving forward and we’re going to work together. I feel stronger. I’ll try not to get on your nerves.'

Edwina added: 'One thing’s for sure. We’re not going to stop in the middle to start talking politics.'

Kendra and Edwina made their way to the Trial clearing where they were greeted by hosts Ant and Dec.

The former Playboy bunny had to sit on a dunk seat. She had to answer five rounds of questions, one round for each section of a long pipe laid out in front of her.

For every correct question, she earnt 20 seconds of time that Edwina could use to try and release the stars in that section of pipe. Every wrong answer would result in Kendra being dunked in foul smelling jungle liquid.

There were ten stars available and each one was a meal for camp. However, only the winning team from that day’s Two Tribes Challenge would get to enjoy the fruits of the pair's labour.

Edwina crouched in the pipe and made her way through the various sections, encountering spiders, cockroaches, meal worms, crickets, lizards, ants, yabbies, eels, mud crabs and snakes on the way.

The questions were based on the relevant critters for that section of pipe and Kendra did well but got some of the questions wrong and received several dunkings.

Edwina managed to retrieve six stars for camp with Kendra showering her with praise.

Edwina and Kendra won six stars and Edwina was delighted with the result of her first Trial saying: 'I think so far, Team Kenwina hasn’t done too badly.'

Kendra added: 'We’re going back to camp with six stars and that’s all that matters. We are going to guard them with our lives. I didn’t go through all that s**t for the Wombats to take our stars. We’re keeping them. Edwina is hard core. She goes in. It’s balls to the wall.'

Returning to camp, Edwina was clearly thrilled as she said: 'I have lost my virginity darling. 

'I feel great. All the adrenalin is running. I’m pleased.'

It wasn’t all plain sailing during the Trial as Edwina told camp: ‘There was a snake bit and all the questions were about snakes and it wasn’t until afterwards that Kendra announced that she didn’t actually know the difference between centimetres and metres and which was the larger one.’

She laughed: ‘Hey, you can get to be 29 and a big reality TV star without knowing your measurements at all’.
