Baby, it's cold outside! Make-up free Uma Thurman hides her new haircut as she bundles up in a fur-trimmed coat

She recently updated her 'do, debuting a fresh fringe at an event on Monday.

But Uma Thurman had no intention of showing off her blonde locks on Friday, as she bundled up to battle the biting New York City weather.

The 44-year-old was spotted make-up free while covered up in a button-down olive green parka, complete with a lavish fur-trimmed hood, as she left her apartment.

The Pulp Fiction star appeared casual chic, sporting a grey knit and light ankle-length denim trousers beneath her bulky jacket.

The mother-of-three brightened up her look with a pair of pink loafers and a scarlet manicure.

It's no wonder she dressed down, as Uma appeared to be in dire need of a little caffeine before fuelling up, as she was grasping onto a white mug while making her exit.

The Kill Bill star was also carrying a tan and grey leather handbag, as she crossed the street.

On Monday, Uma appeared glamorous and youthful while attending the 24th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards.

Aside from unveiling her fringe, the Boston-born actress made a point of showing off her svelte shape by donning a figure-hugging black dress.

It's unclear when the star will next grace the silver screen, but her forthcoming films include the Untitled John Wells Project, Kill Bill: Vol. 3, and Anita.

The Pulp Fiction actress is also making the cross over from Hollywood to television with her new series The Slap.

In The Slap, she stars as Anouk, an aging TV writer trying to recapture her youth by dating an inappropriately younger man, Jamie, played by Gossip Girl's Penn Badgley.

Uma's reruns comes after she was taking time out following the birth of her daughter Luna with her estranged fiance Arpad Busson, whom she called things off with in April.

She recently told Vs. magazine: 'I've kind of been on a hiatus for a while, and I just started getting back to work right now.

'I had a baby and I also wanted to take a step back, and so I did. I think it's important to have this time to take a step back, analyse things and just breathe.'
