Amanda Bynes shares photo displaying her midriff and pierced navel... as she returns to social media after being silent for nearly a month

She's been relatively quiet having not been seen in public or taken to social media in almost a month.

But Amanda Bynes made her presence known once again as she posted a snap of herself to Twitter on Saturday.

In the photo, the troubled 28-year-old exposed her flat stomach and pierced belly wearing a colour block crop top ensemble while out shopping and included the note: 'I'm loving Boutique Jules!'

Amanda appears to be in a fitting room as she poses with her hand at her hip while trying on the grey, black, white and yellow midriff-baring top and matching skirt.

She has her platinum extensions flowing past her shoulders with sections highlighted with green tint and her eyes hidden underneath her trademark sunglasses.

Prior to the photo, the most recent post on her Twitter page is the message 'I'm so rude,' which she shared on November 10th.

No doubt the former actress needed a break after the troubling audiotape - in which she claimed to have dreamt of murdering her parents - was released last month.

Although she later took to Twitter to clarify that she was only joking, those messages have been taken down.

'By the way - I was obviously joking about hurting my family - I straight up don't believe in harming a soul,' she initially tweeted hours after the report was posted on November 15.

'I said what I said in jest & if you don't understand that then know I'm in therapy to talk about my dad issues and that will solve my concerns with ppl invading my private life,' she added.

The recorded rant surfaced as Amanda's parents Rick and Lynn Bynes moved to Texas to be closer to another daughter and their grandchildren.

Back on October 10th, the East A star's erratic behaviour prompted her to be involuntarily committed for a second time.

But just weeks she was released from a psychiatric treatment facility in Pasadena, California and began engaging again in odd antics including falling asleep in the middle of a crowded mall.

The next scheduled conservatorship meeting for the former child star has been set for February 2015.
