I've moved on! Lydia Hearst braves a party with her newlywed ex Jeff Goldblum... then puts on a pointed PDA with new beau

There's surely nothing worse than bumping into your ex at a party. 

But Lydia Hearst came prepared for her meeting with newlywed Jeff Goldblum, with a brand new beau on her arm at the GQ Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

The actress was joined by Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick, and just so there was no doubt they were dating the two put on a pointed PDA as they embraced for the cameras.

Lydia also dressed to impress in a sheer black dress that revealed her toned figure through panels of mesh.

Hardwick, whose Nerdist podcast has made a hero for his fellow geeks, seemed unable to keep his hands off his new girlfriend. 

The couple have only been dating 'for a month or so', according to UsWeekly.

But it's clear that their new relationship is a passionate one. 

Harwdwick, 43, most recently dated model Chloe Dykstra and previously had a long-term relationship with actress Janet Varney, after ending his engagement to The Following actress Jacinda Barrett.

Thirty-year-old Lydia's exes include Jurassic Park star Jeff, who she split from after seven months in 2011.

But while Jeff was also at the fancy bash at the Chateau Marmont he was certainly not mourning his pretty ex - despite her efforts to impress.

Indeed Jeff and new wife Emilie Livingston also shared a passionate kiss in front of the famed Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

The 62-year-old actor and his 31-year-old gymnast bride seemed enamored of each other, as they couldn't keep their hands off of each other the whole night.

Jeff was frequently seen holding his new bride, stealing kisses, and the two held hands as they grinned for the cameras at the glitzy bash.

Jurassic Park actor Jeff wore a smart navy suit for the bash, while Emilie wore a sheer black shirt and a skirt in the same shade.  

They are surely still in the throes of marital bliss, having only tied the knot on November 8.

In an Instagram snap posted by the bride, she wore a strapless lace ivory gown fitted to her diminutive frame with a delicate train fanning from behind.
