Julianna Margulies didn't let a bit of drizzle interfere with her good mood on Saturday. 

The 48-year-old gleefully grinned as she trotted through the rain beside her husband Keith Lieberthal and their six-year-old son Kieran in New York City.

With a stylish umbrella in hand, Julianna stayed just a step behind her husband, who led the way with a shopping bag in hand.

Julianna stayed warm thanks to her cosy black jacket and distressed jeans.

She teamed her look with a pair of rain boots, a grey scarf, and a smart fedora.

Her handsome husband as well donned a dark jacket, jeans, and bulky black shoes.

The Harvard educated attorney tied the knot with Julianna in 2007, just two years before becoming the star of the legal drama, The Good Wife. 

Julianna has received two Emmy awards for her portrayal of Alicia Florrick, a razor-sharp lawyer who returns back to work as her husband heads to prison. 

Having previously portrayed an attorney in both Canterbury's Law and Scrubs, it's clear Julianna has a soft spot for the profession.

The actress' father Paul Margulies passed away in October, and in a touching tribute published on AdWeek, said that not only had her dad briefly attended law school, but that her grandmother was among one of the first female attorneys to practice in New York state.

Paul would ultimately experience a very successful career in advertising, having crafted the classic Alka-Seltzer jingle, 'Plop, plop, fizz, fizz, oh what a relief it is!'

'I got a kick out of showing up to my voiceover sessions and hearing the writers ask me if my father had approved the copy,' the actress recalled in the memoriam.
