From the darkness into the light! Elfin beauty Lorde is reinvented in white as she shows off sleek straight locks as Stella cover girl

She's earned legion of fans for her trademark subdued sartorial style, which she pronounces a 'goth-witch vibe'.

But pop engima Lorde is a chameleon on December's cover of The UK Sunday Telegraph's Stella magazine, clothed in white and bathed in an ethereal glow.

The Kiwi phenomenon, 18, who stole the show at this year's Grammys, cuts a striking form dressed in a brilliant white polo neck and high waisted navy trousers.

With her trademark voluminous curls tamed into sleek straight locks and swept back into a half up do, the Yellow Flicker Beat singer looks like an elfin beauty.

Her dramatic eyes have been painted into exaggerated feline flicks, while the peach shadow on her lids is echoed subtly on her lips.

A silver collar finishes the stylish ensemble as she turned her head towards the camera.
