There’s no secret to Kelly Bensimon's incredible beach body.

The former model has consistently stuck to the right the path when it comes to her eating habits and work out regime.

But during a revealing photo shoot that took place in Miami on Saturday, the 46-year-old showed she is more confident and good looking than ever before.

Stretching her hands up in the air to show off every inch of her toned physique, The Real Housewives of New York City star was the ultimate beach babe.

Her skimpy brown bikini complemented her tanned skin, while her honey-brown waves gave her beach look just the right finishing touch.

She accessorised with a thick orange bangle, watch and a diamond cross necklace.

The fitness fanatic came out with her own diet enabling women to shed five pounds in three days - penning the book I Can Make You Hot! The Supermodel Diet in 2012.

In it, the single mother of two - Teddy, 14, and Sea, 16 - said that she is able to eat 'carb filled' foods during the remaining four days of the week and still shed the weight.

Fashion photographer Gille Bensimon's ex-wife told Fox News at the time: 'It's all about nurturing yourself and not starving yourself.'

Kelly is often spotted out and about in Miami doing fitness based activities including long jogs and tennis matches with her children.

Her modelling career began in Manhattan when she was a teenager.

As a model, she appeared in magazines such as Elle, Cosmopolitan and Harper's Bazaar, and was once the face of cosmetics company Clarins.

Kelly was featured on the March 2010 cover of Playboy magazine and in a six-page pictorial with photos taken by her ex-husband Gilles.
