Emily Blunt shows off her sensational post-baby body in a see-through lace dress... after receiving Golden Globes nomination

She's just been nominated for a Golden Globe Award and Emily Blunt capped off a successful day on Thursday with a dazzling display at the 11th Annual Dubai International Film Festival.

The 31-year-old actress - who was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical for Into The Woods - wowed in a lace, full-length lace gown at the IWC Filmmakers award which was held at the Madinat Jumeriah Complex.

Emily's flowing dress appeared quite modest at first with it's length and high neckline but a close inspection revealed that it was almost completely see-through.

The actress wore her long dark hair pulled back into a bun and accessories with some blingy earrings, rings and a large watch.

Speaking about her nomination earlier, Emily said: 'Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press for embracing the Baker's Wife and recognising this film that I am so proud to be a part of.

'Playing this part made me stretch myself as an actor and muster up any courage I could to find my singing voice. It was so worth it to be a part of Rob Marshall's beautiful and moving film that means so much to me.'

Emily – who has nine-month-old daughter Hazel with husband John Krasinski - recently admitted becoming a mum is 'heaven' and like nothing she has ever done before.

She told People magazine: 'It is that and more. I know that everybody says that. Everybody says, "Oh it’s the best — it’s the best thing ever!"

'You don’t know what to expect because it’s just completely, existentially out of anything that you’ve ever experienced before, and it’s quite indescribable.'

As well as doting on her little one, Emily – whose Into the Woods character's biggest wish in life is to be a mother – revealed her daughter is a huge fan of her singing skills.

She said: 'I like to sing old standards to my baby daughter.

'Some of my favourites for Hazel include songs by Ella Fitzgerald and Otis Redding. She seems to like them.'

But it's not just Hazel who is a big fan of her mum's musical talents as Emily admitted her husband and fellow actor John, 35 - who she married in July 2010 – also loves to hear his wife's dulcet tones.
