Sir Elton John and David Furnish (centre) were officially married this morning, nine years to the day after they entered into a civil partnership. And later on in the day, they tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in front of family, friends, numerous celebrities and of course, their sons Zachary, three and Elijah, 23 months. The couple are eager for the whole world to share in their happiness and posted pictures to their Instagram pages throughout the ceremony with the hashtag #sharethelove. Also pictured: Mr Furnish wipes a tear from his eye (left, centre right of photo), and Elijah stands between his fathers in a picture taken by Zachary (right).
