Signed, sealed, delivered! Clint Eastwood officially divorced from Dina after a yearlong battle

It certainly was not one of Hollywood's quickest, but Clint and Dina Eastwood are finally divorced.

A judge made the 84-year-old director and his wife of 18 years' split official on Tuesday.

Dina, 49, filed for divorce in October 2013 but the pair had been fighting over the custody of their daughter Morgan, 18, and spousal support.

Exactly what the couple decided on when it comes to money has yet to be revealed as no terms of financial settlement disclosed in the divorce decree.

Custody was no longer an issue as Morgan turned 18 during the prolonged proceedings 

Monterey, California, Judge Susan Matcham signed off on paperwork to officially end the Eastwoods' 18-year marriage.

Documents obtained by the Daily Mail show the couple had signed the papers last month, so the judge's signature was the final thing needed to officially end their union.

'She indicated that both parties ''are restored to the status of single persons.''' 

Clint has, of course, already been acting rather single having moved on with Christina Sandera, a hostess from his Mission Ranch Hotel in Carmel.

The pair already live together, according to Us Weekly.

A source told the magazine in June: 'She lives with him in his house he used to share with Dina. She moved in months ago.

'Clint's kids have all met Christina and like [her]. The kids all say she is ''normal.'''

Despite their animosity in court, news anchor Dina praised her ex-husband last year saying he was a wonderful man. 

She said in December last year on Bethenny Frankel's talk show: 'He's lovely, he (Clint) hasn't done much. It's other people around him have done things that have blown me away and again my future ex-husband has done nothing [wrong].

'He's probably the sweetest guy I've ever met. He is the sweetest, he is a loving, kind, low-key person so my intuition was still great on marrying a good person.'

The director was married once before tying the knot aged 23, with Maggie Johnson 1953 and the pair remained married until 1984, but were separated for a decade prior to that.

He then would go on to have a 14 year relationship with Sondra Locke and during both his relationship with her and his first wife had children - including actor Scott Eastwood - with other women.

In total, besides Morgan, Clint has seven other children from previous relationships, including Francesca who he had with actress Frances Fisher.
