Simon Cowell has never been one to do anything by halves.

And the X Factor boss has proved this by inviting pretty much everyone in his address book to join him on his winter holiday in Barbados, surrounding himself with his nearest and dearest.

The music mogul has been enjoying himself on the Caribbean island for two weeks, with his stunning girlfriend Lauren Silverman and his baby son Eric firmly by his side.

He was clearly keen to keep it a lively break, as he has been joined by several friends - and even an ex-girlfriend - on his trip.

The likes of Tulisa, Sarah-Jane Crawford, Sinitta, Union J and Lizzie Cundy have all joined the Cowell clan at the luxury location for the post-Christmas period, meaning the star-studded group has all but taken over the high-end beach resort.

And it seems as though the 55-year-old will have quite an impressive guest list at his rumoured extravagant New Year's Eve party.

He has clearly been keen to let his proverbial hair down after a busy year, which saw him make an illustrious return to the British version of The X Factor.

However, the biggest part of 2014 for him was no doubt welcoming his first child into the world.

His son Eric was born on February 14 this year - a real Valentine's Day gift - and he has since revealed himself to be quite the doting dad.

He has also managed to also keep up his professional life and social lifestyle along with his beautiful girlfriend Lauren, 37.

Simon, Lauren and their little boy flew out to his favourite destination as soon as the latest series of the hit TV talent show - which saw his act Ben Haenow take the title - ended, on December 14.

And he has been there ever since, spending time with his close-knit family, Lauren's son from her previous relationship, as well as his ex-girlfriend Sinitta and her boyfriend Jason Gale.

He has been seen countless times cuddling his adorable tot, looking happier than ever.

In more recent days, the likes of former X Factor judge Tulisa and Xtra Factor presenter Sarah-Jane, along with her handsome boyfriend Ross Harland, have also made their way over to the tropical island following the festive period.

Two members of former X Factor group Union J - George Shelley and Jaymi Hensley - have also been spotted on the island: they are reported to be the entertainment at Simon's lavish shindig.

Former WAG-turned-TV presenter Lizzie Cundy has also been sunning herself on the beach over the past few days, and spent time with Simon and co. at a charity event.

The music mogul took pride of place next to Lauren at an auction on Sunday night, which was held at Holders House in the Parish of St James, Barbados and raised over £100,000 for dog charity K9 Friends.

Meanwhile, Tulisa sat on the row behind him and managed to sneak in a quick kiss on his cheek, while Lizzie mingled with others at the fundraiser.

Also spending time on the island over the Christmas and New Year period is Simon's pal Sir Philip Green, as well as his daughter Chloe and wife Tina.

The Topshop boss and his family are another regular addition to Barbados every winter, choosing the beautiful island year after year for a break.

It has been claimed that Simon will co-host his big NYE party with Philip at Sandy Lane, the X Factor boss' annual winter home every time he goes to Barbados.

And it looks set to be a great night, as Sinitta recently revealed how wild the parties really get.

She said: 'It's completely debauched. We all go to Sandy Lane as guests of Sir Philip and his family.

'It starts with all the men looking suave in suits, while all the ladies wear elegant dresses - but by the end of the night we all end up in the pool with our diamonds and champagne glasses and often not much else.'
