Proud new mom Zoe Saldana reveals her twin boys' names in sweet message to fans

Zoe Saldana welcomed her first children with husband Marco Perego over a month ago. 

And on Friday the 36-year-old star took to Instagram to finally reveal the names of her two new bundles of joy.

The actress posted a photograph showing two sippy cups along with a New Year's spread, sharing that twins Cy and Bowie had finally arrived.

The heartfelt message also thanked fans for their support and for respecting the Guardians of the Galaxy star's privacy.

'Our boys CY and BOWIE are finally here. #marcoperego and I wanted to thank you for your beautiful wishes and for your patience,' she shared.

Zoe also took to Twitter with the precious shot, once again excitedly sharing the news about the newest additions to her family.

The brunette beauty posted: 'Happy #2015 ! Starting our #NewYear with a fullhouse. Our boys are finally here! Thank U 4 all the beautiful wishes!'

Zoe's rep confirmed that her twin boys - Cy Aridio and Bowie Ezio Perego-Saldana - were born on November 27th in Los Angeles, according to Just Jared. 

The new mom has spoken before about starting a big family, sharing that she would be happy with 'two or three' children on the Lifetime series The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet.

'Or four or five! I don't care. They're just so delicious,' she said, adding: 'I love the anxiety, the pressure of the loud room full of yapping kids.'

Proud parents Zoe and Marco married in June 2013 in a secret ceremony in London after just three months of dating.

The two were spotted househunting back in November, around the time of Zoe's last public appearance before giving birth, presumably looking for a family home to move into with their two new arrivals.

Most recently the mother of two had been working on her project with AOL, Zoe Saldaña Presents My Hero, which she has promoted on her Twitter account. 

The partnership is a series in which celebrities share heartwarming stories of their role models and includes stars such as Julianne Hough and Tyler Posey.
