And Salma Hayek lived up to expectations by donning two different simple yet striking gowns to the Golden Globes on Sunday evening, changing into a jewel-coloured purple number for the 2015 InStyle And Warner Bros bash following the ceremony.

The Savages actress certainly knows how to dress for her shape and the elegant pleated gown with crossover detailing hugged her at the waist and emphasised her curves.

Salma looked amazing in her gown, with its thigh-high side split flashing just a hint of skin.

She paired the eye-catching number with some serious bling, including diamond-encrusted drop earrings, a sparkly bangle and a statement ring.

The Mexican-American beauty added a pair of strappy black heels and a soft grey clutch.

The brunette beauty got to present with Kevin Hart at the Golden Globes, which is being hosted at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

Salma recently returned from a family holiday in St Barths, where she rang in the New Year with her seven-year-old daughter Valentina and husband François-Henri Pinault.

The doting parent has admitted that motherhood is one of her favourite roles to play.

Speaking to The Guardian, she said: 'I love being a wife and homemaker – because it's my choice.

'But being a mother is more exhausting than working, and sometimes I push myself too hard and burn myself out.'

She is currently working on the animated film Sausage Party alongside the likes of James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, and Michael Cera.

It concerns one sausage's quest to discover the truth about his existence.
