'You have to do sad things in order to smile again': Gabi Grecko and Geoffrey Edelsten split AGAIN as model shares snap of her left hand sans engagement ring

They're the couple that were so in love they got engaged twice, but it appears Gabi Grecko and Geoffrey Edelsten have split once again. 

The 25-year-old DJ and model took to Instagram on Sunday night seemingly revealing she had ended her relationship with her 71-year-old beau.

'Sometimes you have to do sad things in order to smile again,' she wrote alongside a picture of her hand - bare of any engagement ring.

Her fans rushed to console her, with one writing 'hope you're ok...you have to think about you and your future and who you want to be apart of it!,' while another said 'keep your chin up, you are a strong amazing woman.' 

The shot comes hours after Gabi ranted about Geoffrey's relationship with ex-wife Brynne Edelsten.

'If a man ends his marriage and gets engaged to a new woman, is it appropriate for him to still wear his old wedding band on his other hand...?,' she asked her followers. 

Gabi told Daily Mail Australia 'he wore it one day on the other hand - because it's all sparkly and doesn't look like a marriage band - but it's not right.' 

Melbourne-based Geoffrey claimed 'I have no feelings for Brynne at all, I only wore the ring because it was a nice piece of jewelry and I can't wait for the divorce to come through.'

The businessman added 'it's just a sparkly ring which holds no sentimental value.'

It wouldn't be the first time the couple was on the rocks - Gabi told DMA in September that Geoff wasn't treating her right and that 'I can do better.'

Last July the Maxim covergirl said she almost suffered a nervous breakdown after finding text messages from other women on his phone.

The pair argued and Gabi threatened a breakup, but it was announced a week later that they intended to get married in 2015. 

That would be the first of two times that Geoffrey proposed to the buxom blonde, as he got down on one knee in November during the Melbourne Cup.
