Shiny new wheels! Cycling fan Naomi Watts hits the road on brand new luxurious bike as she sweeps through Central Park for upcoming L'Oreal ad

She's often spotted pedalling through the streets of New York on a heavily-set bike built for four.

But Naomi Watts swapped her regular wheels for a much smarter pair on Wednesday while shooting an upcoming L'Oreal ad.

The blonde beauty, 46, cut an angelic figure in neutral nudes, whites and creams as she whisked by the Conservatory Water in Central Park.

Mother-of-two Naomi had her flaxen locks coiffed into a voluminous, vintage inspired style for the shoot.

Smoothed down at the crown of her head, her hair fell in cascading curls over her shoulders while her makeup look was kept simple but striking.

A sultry smoky eye and lashings of mascara were teamed with a nude lip to draw attention to her gaze.

Her cheeks meanwhile, were perfectly sculpted with a dusting of bronzer.

The preened and primed beauty went for an understated yet classy ensemble to go with her beauty look and seemed well rugged up in a white wool jumper with a loose-fitting turtle neck.

Pairing the knit with a pair of tailored trousers and grey suede boots, she completed the wintry look with a tan coloured overcoat.

Just like in real life, Naomi was later joined by a young boy thought to be her six-year-old son Samuel Kai, who was seated in a booster chair attached to her bike.

She was named an ambassador for the beauty label last October with the company's Brand Global President of L'Oreal Paris Cyril Chapuy calling her 'a symbol of genuine and radiant beauty,' in a statement.

The actress has just returned to the States from a brief visit to Macau where she was awarded Best Global Actress in Motion Pictures at China's 15th Huading Awards.

Closer to home however, the British Australian star missed out on a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for her roles in Birdman and St Vincent.
