And Emma Stone traded in Hollywood glamour in favour of a more low-key look as she headed to the theatre for her performance on Wednesday evening.

Keeping it casual as she left her apartment building, the 26-year-old actress wrapped up against the winter chill in New York City in a grey knitted jumper and a pair of somewhat scruffy flared jeans.

The Superbad star layered a cosy-looking black wool coat over her outfit, and a pair of metallic silver ballet pumps poked out from under the frayed hem of the jeans.

Emma wore her auburn locks poker straight, and opted for minimal make-up to showcase her naturally striking looks.

The actress completed her low-key daytime look by wearing a pair of sunglasses to shelter her eyes from the rays as she headed to the theatre.

On Sunday, Emma and her Cabaret co-star Alan Cumming enjoyed a night off from their production by checking out another show across town.

The duo playfully posed alongside a fake leopard following a performance of Queen Of The Night, an interactive theater experience located inside Manhattan's Paramount Hotel.

Emma, whose significant other Andrew Garfield wasn't spotted on this outing, was casually dressed in a long taupe cardigan, striped T-shirt and dark denim bell bottoms.

After performing in a Sunday matinee of the revival, the 26-year-old appeared ready to let loose with her talented co-star.

Queen Of The Night is a circus-themed dinner theatre experience, in which the show's performers interact, dance and even usher random audience members into different situations in order to give them a truly unique experience.

Emma and Alan looked to have been thoroughly enjoying their night on the town as they are usually busy performing each night as Sally Bowles and the Emcee in Cabaret.

The redhead beauty - who was recently nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in Birdman - has four weeks left in the show, as her run is set to end on February 15.

Sienna Miller will step into the role until the show concludes its Broadway turn on March 29.
