Time for a home-cooked meal! Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick stock up on groceries in LA after return from Sundance Film Festival

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick just got back from a whirlwind trip to Park City, Utah where the actor was promoting his new flick Cop Car.

The couple was understandably low-key as they hit up a Gelsons supermarket in Los Angeles to buy groceries on Monday.

Kevin, 56, and Kyra, 49, who have been married 26 years, were definitely in sync with each carrying a brown paper shopping full of food items as they left the store.

The Footloose actor wore his hair in its signature flip while looking hip in black jeans and a grey jumper, and scuffed brown shoes.

Kyra looked casual and comfortable, wearing white jeans, a loosely fitting black knit jumper and long pendant necklace, and black boots that had rustic written all over them.

The former Emmy-winning star of The Closer wore her light brown hair pulled back from her face in a quick 'do, while chic black shades covered her eyes from view.

Kyra had that 'let's just get home' look, possibly so she could rustle up some dinner with her husband, with whom she shares two grown-up kids, son Travis, 26, and daughter Sosie, 23.

The stars - who met on the set of the PBS version of Lanford Wilson's play Lemon Sky - bought a home in the Hollywood Hills in 2011 as a LA hangout.

They also own a rural property in Sharon, Connecticut, and an apartment in New York City.

In sync: Kyra, 49, was a match for her husband in a similar grey jumper with white jeans and scuffed black boots but then again they have been married for 26 years

Kevin, who shoots his TV show The Following in Manhattan, must have been glad to be away in sunny LA as storm Juno continues to tear through the Northeast.

Kyra accompanied Kevin to Park City, Utah for the Sundance Film Festival unveiling of his latest movie Cop Car on Saturday.

They were once again a coordinated couple as they hit up the promo trail at Columbia At The Village At The Lift, bundled up in jackets, jeans and boots.

The thriller casts Bacon as a sheriff searching for two kids who have taken his car to have a joy ride, and Camryn Manheim also has a role.

Although Kevin was happy to discuss the film and his role in it, he couldn't resist divulging what movie tops his favourite list - Guardians Of The Galaxy.

As fans of the fantasy epic know, Star-Lord - played by Chris Pratt - mentions Kevin's 1984 movie Footloose and the actor is referred to as a hero who saved a town by showing them how to dance.

'Whether I was mentioned in the movie or not, in my opinion it was one of the best movies of the year,' Kevin told The Hollywood Reporter

Adding with a touch of humour: 'I loved it. And I didn't talk to anybody who didn't love it.'
