Heavily pregnant Isla Fisher burns the calories as she steps out in sporty vest top and leggings for an uphill hike

She may well be heavily pregnant, but Isla Fisher had no intention of taking the weight off her feet on Tuesday during an uphill hike in Los Angeles.

The 38-year-old actress, who is expecting her third child with British actor Sacha Baron Cohen, put her prominent baby bump on display while enjoying a calorie burning walk with a female pal.

On a warm day in Southern California Isla kept herself cool by sporting a peaked cap that protected her head from the heat, while a pink vest top covered her prominent bump.

Brown leggings and trainers completed a sporty look for the Australian star, who kept herself hydrated with a stock of water bottles attached to a functional waistband.

On confirming that she was expecting another baby, Isla was forced her to pull out of appearing in the Now You See Me sequel.

Lizzy Caplan has since been brought into replace Isla as the female lead in Now You See Me: The Second Act.

Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Mark Ruffalo have all returned for the film which began filming last month in London.

Isla recently told The Daily Telegraph that she's deliberately taken supporting roles so she can spend more time with her husband and daughters Olive, seven, and four-year-old Elula.

'Family is 100 per cent my top priority. So I'm much more comfortable doing supporting roles right now. And often,' she told The Telegraph in July 2013.

'They're the most interesting,' the star reasoned. 'You get to be a character actress.'

With her attention strictly devoted to her unborn baby, the actress has been forthright about how she dealt with cravings throughout her previous pregnancies.

'I gained 65 pounds with my first baby and 70 with my second,' she told Fitness Magazine last year.

'I had severe morning sickness both times, so I mostly ate supersize bowls of white pasta with loads of butter and cheese because that was the only thing that took away the nausea.'
