The time is upon us everyone. For the first time since 2008, a new Smash title is being released. Think back to the days before, where players would import from Japan and work together to discover information, learn the game, and grow together as a community. Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS launches in Japan in roughly 12 hours, and I’m ready to reveal our plans for our launch coverage with all of you.

Coverage of the new 3DS version of Smash will continue on consistently through the American release in October, but we’re pulling out all the stops for this launch weekend in particular. We’ll be live as much as possible for the first three days, delivering content you can’t find anywhere else. We’re ready and equipped with two Japanese 3DS systems, one of which is streaming capable.
