Uptown Girl gone wild! Christie Brinkley has a ball cheering for the New York Knicks from her courtside seat

Christie Brinkley didn't hold back any emotions while cheering for the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.

The 61-year-old supermodel was spotted grinning and cheering wildly throughout the game.

She even topped the enthusiasm of weatherman Al Roker, 60, and of her 19-year-old son, Jack.

'You think they're jumping ... You should see me !! I'm so excited to be here tonight .. We're up against the best team but we're roaring back! Let's go Knicks #surge!' an excited Christie wrote in an Instagram posted during the game.

Although the Knicks ended up losing 92 to 106 to the Golden State Warriors, that didn't stop the happiness of a woman who may be the team's biggest fan.

The ageless beauty was casually dressed for the night in a beige sweater that featured an uneven hemline just below her waist.

Faded blue jeans were cuffed high above the ankles, leaving room for fancy, high-top trainers on her feet.

Christie was wearing makeup, showing heavily mascaraed eyes and bright red lips, while her blonde hair was worn loose in big curls.

'I think this is when they kicked my shin a little bit by accident almost as soon as we sat down !!!' Christie enthused in a second Instagram post.

'You can't get any closer than that!' she added, obviously holding no grudge against the athletes who almost fell on her.

Seat companions Al and Jack were quite obviously interested in the game as well, but it was Christie who was spotted yelling, cheering, and standing up repeatedly.

One of the biggest models of the 1980s, Christie has barely slowed down in recent years, thanks to continued modelling gigs and sporadic acting roles.

Christie reprised her recurring role on comedy Parks And Recreation on Tuesday, playing the impossibly beautiful wife of Gary Gergich.

She also was one of 10 'older' models featured in a new ad campaign from Barneys New York this month, the Better Than Ever series.

The models of this campaign were surrounded by mostly naked, young men caught in poses of adoration.

For Christie, that meant 28 boys who were 'wet and glistening out of the water,' as she described it to the New York Times.

'For a second there, I felt like Beyonce. I think I turned to the camera at one point and just said, Take that, b****es.'
