For her first-ever nomination, Miley Cyrus made sure to make a bang at the Grammy Awards.

The 22-year-old singer turned heads on the red carpet wearing a seductive Alexandre Vauthier cut-out gown at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The Bangerz artist left no room for underwear in the backless design that while floor length, certainly showed off her figure.

The dress was a black version of the white one worn by Ciara at Saturday night's Clive Davis party.

Miley attended the bash, posing with Ciara, and obviously approved of her look. 

Surprisingly, Miley's boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger was not her plus one to the awards bash - although he did join her the previous evening.

Instead, the Wrecking Ball songbird was accompanied by mother Tish and producer Mike Will Made It, whom she was rumoured to have dated before Patrick.
