She recently announced she was expecting a baby girl.

But Ashlee Simpson kept her growing baby bump under wraps as she covered up in a hoodie and coat while on an outing at the farmers market on Sunday.

The pregnant 30-year-old singer was not alone on the outing as she was accompanied by husband Evan Ross while the couple strolled around the outdoor shopping area in Studio City, California.

As usual, Ashlee and the 26-year-old son of legendary singer Diana Ross put on a loving display as they held hands while strolling around in the sunny weather of Southern California.

The Pieces Of Me singer donned a long salt and pepper coat featuring black leather panels over a black hoodie with the Adidas logo emblazoned across it.

The sister of Jessica Simpson also donned a pair of skinny grey jeans ripped at the knees along with a pair of beat-up black Converse All-Star sneakers.

Loved up: As usual the 30-year-old singer and her husband of five months were hand-in-hand as they enjoyed the afternoon together

Her platinum blonde locks were pulled back in a messy updo as she had natural, complimentary make-up on her face. She accessorised with a pair of circular shades and large, gold hoop earrings.

Evan donned a black military-style jacket over a pair of skinny grey jeans and black and orange trainers.

The couple married for five months looked around the outdoor market featuring locally grown produce and even stopped by a tent to check out a retailer selling salsa.

On Thursday evening the duo, along with Ashlee's son six-year-old Bronx, attended an event in New York City where they revealed the sex of their little one.

'We're having a girl!', Ashlee revealed to People, before adding why she had been keen to find out the sex.

'I like to know – I want to do the nursery,' Ashlee explained.

She also revealed that they discovered they had a new addition to the family on the way on Thanksgiving, calling it 'a cute, fun day'.

Besides their daughter, both Evan and Ashlee share many mutual interests, including careers in singing and acting.

The sister of Jessica Simpson has released three studio albums and appeared in the series 7th Heaven and the axed reboot of Melrose Place.

Evan released the music video to his single How To Live Alone in December, which included cameos from his wife and mother. He has also acted in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, ATL and other films.

But the similar passions do not stop there - the seemingly inseparable couple also share a love of fashion.

The budding actor and singer revealed to E! News that they swap their wardrobe and are 'working on' an 'androgynous' clothing line.
