Queen of country! Miranda Lambert shows off her slender frame in black as she joins the cool kids at the Grammys

She's the queen of country.

But Miranda Lambert fitted in perfectly as she joined pop's coolest kids on the red carpet at the Grammys on Sunday night.

The 31-year-old wore a slinky full length black gown, with subtle cut-out detailing at the waist, and pink straps around the neck and backline.

With hunky husband Blake Shelton on her arm, the beauty was arriving ahead of her performance at the awards show at LA's Staples Center. 

'This is the first year I've been able to do me on the Grammys, to really do what I do live, which is to kind of rock out,' Miranda told USA Today.

'I really haven't been able to do that on the show, so I feel like this is a special moment for me.'

The country singer, who won a Grammy in 2011, has four nominations the year. 

Her most recent album, Platinum, won Best Country Album.

'I love every album in this category, I'm so so thankful for this,' Miranda said as she accepted her gong.

'I poured my heart and soul into this. Thank you so much for this amazing night. I love y'all. Thank you.'
