She may have been 35 years her senior, but Cindy Crawford, 48, and her 13-year-old daughter Kaia Gerber looked more sisters than mother and daughter on Saturday.

The doppelganger duo and father of the family Rande Gerber, 52, stepped out together in New York City while supermodel Cindy was in the city for work.

Cindy and Kaia cut strikingly similar figures in long black coats and knee-high boots as they grabbed a cross-town ride in a city cab.

While Cindy, who also has son Presley, 15, with husband Rande, left her light brown tresses in loose waves, Kaia swept hers up into a youthful high ponytail.

Hinting at her pre-teen status, Kaia wore a black backpack on one shoulder and was barefaced unlike her supermodel mother.

They sported matching pairs of leather gloves and combated the snow in the city with flat boots to the knee.

Cindy, assuming the motherly role, hailed down a taxi for the trio and lead the way inside with her handbag balanced on one elbow.

She showed off just a hint of her model physique in a pair of tight-fitting jeans, with her legs just peeping below a thick coat.

It's something that already, her tall daughter has inherited as they proved in near-identical Instagram posts for their respective social media sites.

Perched in the window of their NYC holiday apartment, Kaia and Cindy posed with their knees up, staring out onto the street.

Cindy had been working alongside Orbis International and Omega as the watch brand ambassador to promote short film The Hospital In The Sky, in which she and her daughter star.

The model lent her support to the cause on Thursday night as well, bringing along the whole family for extra star power.

She looked timeless in a black wrap dress, which she paired with black knee-high boots and black tights.

On her right, Kaia let her hair loose in a similar relaxed wave and donned a cute crop top and pencil skirt.

Cindy was also joined by her handsome son Presley in a hoodie and padded jacket as they took a sweet family picture.
