Moesha star Marcus T Paulk, 28, pleads guilty and is sentenced to one year probation after being arrested for a DUI and drug possession

Marcus T Paulk has pleaded guilty after being arrested in Arizona on February 1 for a DUI and drug possession. 

On Monday TMZ reported the 28-year-old Moesha actor has been sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation.

The former child star, who is an LA resident, was believed to be in the state to see the Super Bowl.

Maricopa County Superior Court officials say Paulk pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of DUI. He was stopped in suburban Scottsdale. A Sheriff told TMZ that the actor drove 'dangerously close' to a fire truck.

Two police cars that were stopped with their emergency lights flashing. The arresting officer told TMZ Paulk 'smelled of alcohol and had a bag of marijuana in his pocket.'

The star blew a .109 on a breathalyzer.

Moesha, which ran from 1996 to 2001, also featured pop star Brandy. 

Paulk played Moesha's little brother Myles on the series. He has also appeared in Fillmore! and The Proud Family.

Officer Calbert Gillett of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office confirmed to Us Weekly that Marcus was released soon after his arrest.

'He reportedly failed a field sobriety test and confessed to drinking and smoking pot,' TMZ added.  

Paulk is thought to have been in the state to take in the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots game.

On Friday he Instagrammed the Super Bowl XLIX logo, along with the caption: 'What's up #phx #az #scottsdale what that #Super Bowl life like.'

NFL Hall of Famer Warren Sapp was also arrested at the time of the Super Bowl, though hours later. His charges of solicitation and assault.
