Kevin, who has appeared in films such as Think Like A Man, Grudge Match, and Ride Along, told The Wrap: 'I don’t normally do roasts but I had to step out for my guy Biebs…It’s his big 21. It’s about to be operation roast everyone’s ass.'

Last month, when the roast was announced, Justin was quick to post his excitement.

'For years I have wanted Comedy Central to roast me. They said only if I provided them w/ more material so for a year now I have worked hard.'

And he certainly has. From his legal annoyances to a Calvin Klein ad to that bleach-blond hair, Justin's past year was ripe for parody.

The singer has made headlines over the past year for various antics, including accusations of throwing eggs at a neighbour's house and getting a DUI.

He recently said in a YouTube video that he's far more pleasant than he's perceived to be.

He explained: 'It’s been a minute since I’ve been in a public appearance, and I didn't want to come off arrogant or conceited or basically how I’ve been acting the past year and a half.

After appearing on Ellen last week, the star posted to his Twitter saying: 'I’m not who I was pretending to be. Why I say I was "pretending" is often we pretend to be something we’re not as a cover up of what we’re truly feeling inside.

'And there were a lot of feelings going on in there. Just being young and growing up in this business is hard. Just growing up in general is hard.'

He continued: 'I just felt awkward up there. I felt like people were judging me, and I really want people to know how much I care, how much I care about people, and how I’m not that person to say, "I don’t give a f***," you know? I’m not that kid.

The Calvin Klein model also was making amends in a very real way with TMZ reporting last week the star was spotted at his probation check-in at the Santa Monica Courthouse. The meetings are required after his plea in last year's egging vandalism case.
