Selena Gomez announces DJ Zedd song release with adorable photo of duo and calls him 'Harry to my Sally'

Selena Gomez announced her highly anticipated collaboration with DJ Zedd on Monday.

The 22-year-old singer shared a very cute photo of the duo - who are rumoured to be dating - to promote the release date of their track titled I Want You To Know. 

She captioned it: 'Harry to my Sally #feb22 #IWYTK,' in reference to the classic 1989 romantic comedy starring Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal.

Selena can be seen smiling as she leans over the Russian-German music producer's shoulder while he gazes at the camera in a suit and bow-tie.

The practically inseparable pair were rumoured to be attending the Grammys together on Sunday but ended up being a no-show.

It turns out they were likely hard at work shooting the video for their upcoming track as Hollywood Life reported of casting notices asking for extras 'of all ethnicities, ages 21-28' for a 1970's or 1980's glam theme.

On Sunday the Come & Get It hit maker shared a photo from the shoot wearing a sparkly top and seventies style aviators.

At the Grammy Awards, Ryan Tedder of One Republic told Billboard of the collaboration: 'I'll leave it at this: I have a good feeling you might hear it before the end of the month,'

He added: 'The new Zedd-Selena record that has been buzzing about? That's my song.

'[Zedd] crushed it. I went on a run today and listened to it on repeat in my headphones. And Selena did a bang-up job. She killed it.'

Last month 25-year-old Zedd - real name Anton Zaslavski - flew to Atlanta to spend time with Selena while she filmed her new movie The Revised Fundamentals Of Caregiving alongside Paul Rudd. 

They were spotted out on several outings together including a night of bowling and a double date with Zac Efron and Sami Miró.
