Brooke Shields is ravishing in red while Olivia Palermo cloaks her style in blue at NY premiere of Kingsman: The Secret Service
Brooke Shields' arrival wasn't exactly hard to spot at this star-studded event.
The 49-year-old actress made her ravishingly red presence known the moment she stepped on the carpet at the New York premiere of Kingsman: The Secret Service on Monday.
Brooke even managed to steer attention away from the younger crowd - including 28-year-old Olivia Palermo - in a stylishly fitted, scarlet dress that harked back to the 1940s.

Seeing red: Brooke Shields, 49, stole some of the spotlight away from fashionista Olivia Palermo, 28, at the New York premiere of Kingsman: The Secret Service on Monday
Brooke's red number featured long sleeves, modest neckline and gathered detail at the chest, waist and down the front of the clingy skirt, and was paired with grey suede pumps and silver clutch.
The Pretty Baby star still had that glowing complexion of ivory and rose that made her a household name in the late '70s.
Brooke wore her dark brown locks loose and wavy around her shoulders with a side part to better frame her face.
Riveting in retro: Brooke's classic fitted dress harked back to the 1940s with its modest neck and hemline along with its exquisite gathered details
All night pass: Claudia Schiffer attended the premiere with her husband Matthew Vaughn who directed the action-packed comedy
Wild about Claudia: The German model's mane of blonde hair certainly shone bright
Patterned pretty: The film's Sofia Boutella shimmered in a sequin-embellished top and trouser set
Olivia, meanwhile, preferred the cloak-and-dagger look in a midnight-blue wrap that hid much of her slender frame.
And underneath her warming cloak, the former star of The City wore a black dress belted at the waist, black tights and thigh-high black leather boots.
Olivia's burnished brown hair was caught in that stylish cloak, which she no doubt planned to take off once inside the venue at SVA Theatre in New York's trendy Chelsea district.
Secret's out: Colin Firth looked debonair and dashing in a dark suit and dark print tie
Line up: Colin enjoyed posing with cast members Samuel L. Jackson, Sofia Boutella and Targon Egerton
Sophisticated: Samuel L. Jackson took another moment to pose with pretty Sofia Boutella
Kingsman: The Secret Service stars Colin Firth, Mark Strong, Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Caine among many other talents.
The action-packed comedy adventure follows a promising but rough-around-the-edges street kid who gets recruited into a spy organisation's training program.
The movie's premiere also brought out Claudia Schiffer, who looked gorgeous in an animal print mini-dress and black tights.
Claudia held the hand of her husband, Matthew Vaughn, who directed the flick and looked dashing in black hat, black coat, grey scarf and blue jeans.
That coat: Colin Firth couldn't resist sidling up to Anna Wintour who was in 'vogue' wearing a black leather coat trimmed in red fur
Bright lights in the city: Actress Erin Richards cooled things down in a silky blue shift while Julie Henderson revved things up in a red number
Stylish comfort: Helena Christensen's black jumpsuit had comfy written all over it
The German model got some competition in the looks department from Helena Christensen, who fairly sizzled in a black jumpsuit and gold heels.
The film's Sofia Boutella shimmered in an ivory, sequin top and trouser set that she accessorised with a beige clutch.
A swipe of crimson lipstick and red nail polish gave the dark-haired beauty's outfit some bright contrast.
They've got the look: Rachel Roy, left, and Jane Goldman, right, leaned on black and mocha colours while Sophie Cookson brightened things up in hot pink
Magic moment: Magic Johnson attended the premiere with his wife Cookie and their daughter Elisa
Film fans: Kevin Bacon was among the premiere guests as was Sting's wife Trudie Styler
Julie Henderson revved things up in a red number to rival Brooke's, while actress Erin Richards cooled things down in a silky blue shift with cut-outs at both shoulders.
Of course one of the stars of the evening was British actor Colin Firth, who looked dashing as ever in a black suit, white shirt and dark tie.
Cast members Samuel L. Jackson and Targon Egerton were seen posing with Sofia and Colin on the carpet.
Colin also graciously posed with Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of American Vogue, who wore a black leather coat fringed in red fur.
Sting's wife Trudie Styler also made an appearance, as did Kevin Bacon, star of NBC's The Following.
