He performed an emotional ballad Only One at the Grammys dedicated to his daughter North.

And just hours later, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were joined by their adorable 20-month-old daughter as they arrived in New York on Monday morning after a cross-country flight.

The 37-year-old looked walked right behind his 34-year-old ladylove as she pushed along the stroller with their precious cargo.

Kim arrived at LAX late Sunday boarding her flight in a very revealing low-cut gold gown from the gala, which showed off plenty of cleavage and leg.

No doubt the reality star made a change in the air slipping into something more comfortable while on the flight as she touched down at JFK in a much more casual chic ensemble.

She wore a long, black coat over a white top, camouflage cropped trousers and a pair of matching olive green booties as she shaded her eyes with black designer frames.

Her daughter Nori looked adorable as she donned a pair of brown and black leather boots while Kim wrapped her in a blanket before loading her into their pick-up vehicle.

Kanye went casual in the same burgundy velour hoodie he wore during his first of two performances at the Grammy Awards.

He completed the look with a brown, plush mink coat and black sweatpants. He also sported pair of his grey suede signature Adidas sneaker the Yeezy Boost, which he is in town to unveil as part of New York Fashion Week.

The Bound 2 singer certainly seemed to be in high spirits as he commented on meltdown involving his friend Beyonce being snubbed for the album of the year award in favour of Beck while making his way through the terminal and talking to reporters.

Kanye said: 'No I wasn't saying Beck, I said the Grammys. Beck knows that Beyonce should have won, you know that.

'C'mon man, I love Beck but he didn't have the album of the year.'

He was seemingly backtracking from the interview he gave to E! shortly after the Grammys on Sunday night as he even suggested that Beck should give up his award.

The rapper continued ranting: 'At this point - we're tired of it because what happens is, you keep on diminishing art and not respecting the craft and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental music. You are disrespectful to inspiration.'

As Beck received the award, Kanye stormed on stage much like he did to Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards but jokingly walked off shortly after.

Kanye even made light of his feud with athletic brand Nike after releasing his last signature Yeezy II sneaker with them in late 2013.

As he is now with rival Adidas, he spotted a young fan wearing a pair of bright red Nike high-top sneakers when he offered to give a pair of his soon-to-be-released signature shoes if he threw away his sneakers.

The Good Life rapper put his arm around the fan and said: 'No more of those, you know that. Ask this man what he would rather have between these and these,' as he pointed at their footwear.
