NEW Mark Davis grew up believing he was the adopted son of Sammy Davis Jr and his wife May Britt, the Swedish actress (left). He knew nothing about his life until he was two (top right) but as he got older people in the Rat Pack member's circle would point out Mark's physical resemblance to his adopted father. On his death bed in 1990 Sammy told him: 'I am your father.' But it was only two years ago that the truth emerged when Mark (bottom right) was shown his birth certificate for the first time, naming Sammy Davis as his real father. It also named Britt as his mother, which he knows to be impossible, meaning he still has no idea about his mother. He revealed his astonishing story to Daily Mail Online and said: 'I am a huge living question mark.'

A North Carolina teenager who was shown how to tie a tie by staff at Target before his job interview has returned to the store to thank them for their help. Employee Dennis Roberts helped a Yasir Moore learn how to tie a tie when he came in to get the accessory. Mr Roberts then went on to help prepare the young man for his interview at a nearby Chick Fil-A restaurant. A woman who was shopping at the store at the time took a picture of the heartwarming moment (inset) and posted it online.

Dr. Mary Neal, a Wyoming surgeon, pictured left, claims that in a near-death experience, not only did she experience heaven, but she was also forewarned of her son's tragic death. In a kayaking accident in 1999, Neal claims she died and went to heaven, returning only after spirits forewarned her of the death of her son, Willie, pictured right, who died 10 years later. Samuel Forrest, the father who claims his wife abandoned their newborn son because he has Down syndrome, has four other children from a previous marriage, including a girl with the same condition, Daily Mail Australia can reveal. The late Joan Rivers' opulent Manhattan penthouse has just come onto the market for $28 million. Eventually the man was taken down after trying to jack two more cars--apparently at gunpoint--and hauled away in an ambulance.

An unknown woman, thought to be in Britain, discovered that her husband had been cheating on her and took her revenge on the red sports car, valued at $130,000. Using some form of handheld weapon, she has smashed all the windows as well as the dashboard and speedometer. She has also scratched the car from front to back, including a loving 'f*** you' and a smiley face, and cut the leather seats to pieces. And now the family behind the distinctive-smelling Carmex chapstick have opened the doors of their Franklin, Wisconsin, factory for one of the first times. Paul Woelbing, 58, who inherited the company from his grandfather Alfred, led the Journal Sentinel on a guided tour of the 40,0000-square-foot plant. He revealed it as a pretty 'eccentric' place to work with a giant pipe organ installed on the factory floor. He doesn't play the keyboard, but musicians often stop by to tickle the ivories.

A test of a Tomahawk missile off San Nicolas Island in California showed it ploughing through a shipping container on a moving ship with such force that it punched a hole all the way through (inset). They show the salmon desperate attempts to get to safety whilst the bear eyes up his dinner.

With the sound of slot machines blurring out the noise, more than 4,000 pounds of explosives were used to demolish a Las Vegas hotel before sunrise Tuesday. The 12-story Clarion casino-hotel, which opened its doors in 1970 and was briefly owned by actress Debbie Reynolds, became the 13th hotel to gain implosion infamy in Sin City. However, despite the high-power blast, one tower remained standing on the end of the building and a second demolition job is expected.

Using chainsaws and ice cutters (pictured above, inset) five men spent two weeks creating their very own frozen replica of Stonehenge using huge blocks of ice cut from a Wisconsin lake (pictured above, main). Each of the huge giant pillars weighed a back breaking 300 pounds. This is the second time that the group has attempted the project.
