He's only two years old, but already he's being dressed like a hip LA toddler.

On Tuesday actress and singer Hilary Duff showed off her stylish tot Luca who wore a statement T-shirt and on-trend slacks.

The mother and son team were heading to a kids class in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of LA.

Luca, whose father is former NHL hockey star Mike Comrie, stood out in a white T that said Wrap And Roll on the front.

The trendy top from a Japanese range of kids clothing featured colorful pieces of sushi including shrimp, a hand roll and a piece of tuna nigri.

Duff clearly styled him carefully as even the sleeves were rolled up for an eighties punk look, matching the rolled up bottoms of his camouflage pants.

Luca won points for his shoes too. They were not ordinary sneakers, but a pair of black high tops that had laces, not Velcro.

The cutie also appeared to have his blond hair parted on the side with a little gel in it.

His mom carried his Penguin backpack as the pair exited Duff's white Mercedes-Benz G-class SUV.

The 27-year-old Lizzie McGuire star stayed casual in a gray T-shirt and hot pink leggings with a gray jacket and gray-and-pink trainers.

Looking like she'd just come from the gym, Duff wore her hair in a ponytail and was make-up free.

She accessorized with large tortoise shell-framed shades and small diamond stud earrings.

The busy singer and actress is obviously delighted to be back spending more time with her only child.

On Monday she was spotted shopping for toys with Luca in Beverly Hills after meeting friends for breakfast.

Another cool outfit: On Monday little Luca showed off his stylish side again while wearing a sleeveless grey shirt and black slacks

It's a busy time for the young mom as she juggles looking after Luca with starring in the new TV Land series Younger.

The show, which debuts March 31, is written and directed by Sex And The City creator Darren Star.

The comedy series follows a single mom played by Sutton Foster who tries to get back into the workplace at 40 and ends up pretending to be 20-something in order to get a shot at her dream job.

Duff plays a co-worker who helps her keep the truth a secret.

Duff recently returned home to LA from Sweden where she's been in the studio working on new songs.

Last week she posted a picture of Luca wrapped in a duvet on Instagram, saying 'Miss him something terrible today :( '

Missing from the outings this week was Luca's dad Comrie who split from Duff a year ago after three years of marriage.

But the estranged couple, who have not yet filed for divorce, remain friends and are committed to raising their son together.

In September, Duff told Australia's The Kyle And Jackie O Show that 'if there wasn't a chance for getting back [together], I think we would've filed for divorce.'

In a separate interview, she told USWeekly last May, that 'we're just trying to enjoy our lives and figure out what makes us happy and it's working for us.'
