The Ohio History Connection is responsible for 58 historic sites and museums located in 40 counties. It is one of the largest single networks of historic sites in the U.S. Nine historic sites and museums have achieved accreditation through the American Association of Museums (AAM), the highest national recognition an American museum can receive.

In addition to the numerous historic sites and museums across the state, be sure to stop by a historic marker or two on your trip. Find historic preservation resources in your community or search for a building on the National Register of Historic Places.
