The 28-year-old looked exquisite in a soft pink evening gown at Tuesday night's Elle Style Awards 2015, walking the red carpet with all the poise of a princess.

She stripped back her sex appeal and parred down her rocky image to sample a more elegant image for a change.

Ellie walked the red carpet on white pointed heels, which just peeped beneath her sheer a-line skirt and served to soften her athletic frame.

It was to be a rare evening without her beau as she flew solo on the red carpet to great effect at the midweek bash.

He was pictured with 1D's Harry, Liam, Niall, Zayn and Louis in Melbourne on Tuesday as they perform alongside Britain's biggest pop act during their On The Road Again tour.

Ellie recently gushed over her boyfriend of eight months, saying that they were destined to wed some day.

She addressed speculation of an impending wedding to the Sun On Sunday by saying: 'I mean eventually, like. Eventually, yeah. But not now as we both have lots to do.'
