Little Mason Disick was three when he got his first shot at skiing, but two-year-old Penelope is already finding her feet on the slopes.

Kourtney Kardashian - who's just had third child Reign with boyfriend Scott Disick - and her adorable brood were picture perfect on the slopes on Wednesday as they watched Penelope get off to a wobbly start during their annual break to snowy Montana.

Kitted out in full ski gear, Scott, 31, and 35-year-old Kourtney kept a watchful eye over the cute duo, looking proud as Mason flew off ahead of an apprehensive - and utterly adorable - Penelope.

First time on the slopes: Kourtney Kardashian scoops up two-year-old Penelope Disick as the little one got her first shot at skiing on their family vacation in Montana

Kourtney was looking slim despite the layers, having had her third child just over two months ago in December 2014.

She scooped up daughter Penelope as the green-suited cutie sought refuge from the slopes in her mother's arms.

Penelope was getting off to a slow start and gripped to an instructor's arm with a look of fear in her little face.

She did well to keep an upright position on her mini skis, looking impressively balanced in her chunky green ski suit.

It's not her first time on a skiing holiday but it appeared to be the first time that Penelope was let loose on the snow.

Perfectly prepared for the activity, her mousey brown locks were plaited into a girly style on top of her head but she left off the helmet and goggles because she didn't stray too far from her parents.

Confused: For Penelope it looked like the complex sport was proving all too baffling

Doting parents Scott and Kourtney, both clad in black, watched on with smiles, looking proud that the two-year-old was taking a stab at the sport.

Little Penelope wasn't the only one who was enjoying her first ski experience as Khloe Kardashian's friend, Malika even turned her hand to skiing for the very first time on Wednesday.

Five-year-old Mason meanwhile, the couple's first born, looked perfectly at ease on the snow - now an old hand at the activity after two year's experience.

He flew off away from his parents with a satisfied grin and cleverly kept balance with his arms out wide.

Penelope and Mason, like obedient children, paid close attention to an instructor who walked them through the best practise of the sport.

New baby Reign was nowhere to be seen on the family holiday, which also saw Kourtney's sister Kim Kardashian and her daughter with Kanye West, North, staying in the snowy resort.

Kim has left the family alone and jetted back to the UK to make an appearance at the BRIT Awards 2015 in London on Wednesday

Mason and Penelope had previously been showing up little cousin Nori, who acted up at the dinner table when the couple dined with Kim and her daughter in Big Sky.

And Kourtney and Scott made an adorable couple, clearly the proud owner's of a perfect little family.

After moving into a new home last year and welcoming a new addition into their brood, Kourtney and Scott have reportedly spent $100,000 on improving their nest in Calabasas recently.

According to Radar Online, the couple's plush pad boasts six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a gym, a games room and a music room.

They will return home to the abode after a relaxing break later this month, having spent some quality time with their two oldest children.

New mum Kourtney has boasted an impressive weight loss after the birth of her third child and despite covering up for the cold in Montana, Kourtney showed an impressively slimmed down shape.

Alone time: Kourtney and Scott were sure to be glad of the alone time with their precious family

Speaking at the beginning of February, Kourtney complained about a 'stubborn' 14 pounds of weight that she's struggling to lose before being content with her post-baby body.

Like her sisters Khloe and Kim, Kourtney is a great advocate of a waist trainer and has been charting her slimming progress with regular Instagram posts.
